I had a wonderful, restorative week away to visit my sister and her husband in San Fransisco.
of course i brought back some sounds from the trip to share and use in my own work.

Completed sound design for this last week. Very fun gig! aided and abetted by my good friend Dallas Boyes who recorded the excellent production sound. it's playing on loop in the venue well into January.

MUTEK 2015

Vive La MUTEK! Vive La Montreal!

The staff, organization, facilities and most importantly, audience were warm, inviting and receptive to my efforts in my one off "waveshaper" AV presentation.

The other artists i witnessed were inspiring also.

Every time i attend MUTEK, I come away with a reinvigorated outlook.

Canada possesses a special gem in this festival, and  I hope it remains vital for many more years to come.

i am very excited to announce my participation in the 2015 instalment of MUTEK in montreal

Wed May 26 at the Montreal Museum of Modern Art.

my A/V presentation is called "waveshaper".

expect synthesizers and disorienting layered video collages.

i hope i finish up in time to run to catch the James Holden show the same night.
