i have been stepping up my field recording a bit, and posting to Freesound, which is a marvelous resource for those searching for sounds for their productions.

i love field recording, cause it gets me away from the computer, and has a meditative quality and allows me to concentrate.
i used to use a minidisc, but recently upgraded to a Sony PCM D50, which sounds awesome and hooks up to the mac really easily.
i also have a nice windsock for it, because the mics a extremely sensitive.
